Making Objects Easier to See by Change Viewport Settings in 3dsmax- Back

The purpose of this short tutorial is to show you how to make objects easier to see by changing the viewport background color and the grid's color. You can, of course, choose any colors you'd like. The ones I have chosen are more for visibility, but I think they look very cool too!

  1. Go to File and then click Preferences.
  2. Click the Colors tab.
  3. In the Main UI section click the down arrow and choose Viewport Background.
  4. Click the colored box to the right of the drop down menu and change the color to black (0,0,0).
  5. In the Grids sections, make sure Grid Intensity is selected and up the value to about 220.
  6. Check the box that says Invert and click OK!
